Family memberships and donations make it possible for FMA to provide:
- Gifts of needed music and arts equipment to each Scarsdale school.
- Resources for FMA initiatives like the Practice Partners music mentorship program, snacks for student artists at Halloween window painting, SHS concert receptions, and student achievement awards and recognition.
- Support for school arts clubs including the Drama Club, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and the National Art Honor Society.
FMA also supports Scarsdale student artists and performers by:
- Representing student and parent needs at district budget and planning meetings.
- Promoting music, art and drama events in the community.
- Hosting additional student performance opportunities.
- Providing reduced cost concert dresses for SHS band, orchestra and chorus students.
