Come support the SHS Drama Club this weekend!

See the SHSDC's spring play: She Kills Monsters
This Friday 3/24 & Saturday 3/25 @ 7:30pm - SHS Auditorium

She Kills Monsters is the story of high schooler Agnes Evans as she deals with the death of her younger sister, Tilly. When Agnes stumbles upon Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this coming of age dramatic comedy, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.

The SHS Drama Club's production is an ode to 90s culture, from alternative music to fashion, and features puppets, monster costumes, and fight choreography set to 90s tunes. Many of the technical elements in the show have been designed by SHS's theater tech students, making way for a new level of collaboration the SHSDC has not previously attempted.

Parent Volunteers Needed for Halloween Window Painting

FMA would like to provide free snacks to the kids participating in the Scarsdale Halloween Window Painting event in the Village center next Sunday 10/16 @ 9am-4pm. We just need parent volunteers to make it happen! Please email Debra Asher-Zitrin at fmascarsdale@gmail.com by Mon 10/10 if you're available to help next Sunday so we know if we have enough volunteers to run with this. And if you’d like to help with planning, let us know that, too!

Thanks in advance for helping FMA bring special moments to Scarsdale’s student artists!
